The Root Project was envisioned collectively by Chef Dominique Crenn and Michelle Jean, co-founder of Zesa Raw days after Hurricane Matthew devastated the island of Haiti. Today, Root Project is a group of socially conscious chefs, food enthusiasts, social impact entrepreneurs and influencers who are committed to sustainable agriculture as a means of economic development in Haiti.
